REFLECTION PAPER AND BOOK BORROWING (MMA EDUC)

Learning Reflections :
1) How web pages enable engaging and interactive multimedia presention?

2) How interface design helps in effective interaction and multimedia learning?

In order to make learning more effective, web pages should have interactive multimedia presentations. These presentations should include features like advanced navigation menus, internal links, search bars, forms and buttons, videos, animated elements, 3D hover or scroll effects, interactive feedback tools, and other features that help draw in learners and keep audiences interested.
And this will give enough space for user interaction and discussion, enabling the user to actively connect with the website.
This interactive multimedia presentation on web pages contributes to the delivery of a wide range of solutions that improve knowledge and performance using modern, advanced technologies to support learning and transfer knowledge to students as it permits anytime, anywhere learning through various processes, including web-based
learning, virtual classrooms or any web pages with interactive multimedia presention.

It's true that interface design will help our students in having effective interaction in multimedia learning.
An interactive interface design may allow students to control, manipulate, and explore the material, or it may ask students to answer questions that integrate the material on a regular basis. It will also have a significant positive impact on multimedia learning and improve learning by encourage and motivates students to thoughtfully consider the course information and process the learning material elaboratively.

WEEK 2 - Decorative Font

TYPOGRAPHY AND LAYOUT
DECORATIVE FONT

FLAMMABLE

COLOR APPLIED:
Golden yellow #FFDF00 and black

FONT STYLE:
Vortice

Golden yellow or yellow is a
Precautionary signs indicate physical danger or any hazards such as fire.
I made the background black because of the words Flammable which are golden yellow, I want the word flammable to be captivated like it is easy to read even if you are far away.
I use Vortice font because of the sharp edges of the letters to represent the symbol of fire in a simple design.

POISONOUS

COLOR APPLIED:
Black, red, and white

FONT STYLE:
Source serif

Red means Hazard symbols or warning symbols are recognizable symbols designed to warn about hazardous or dangerous objects, materials, place especially in foods when you see this skull and crossbones it symbolizes the product is poisonous.
I use a black and white background to see that it is compatible with any various colors of this design.

BEWARE OF DOG

COLOR APPLIED:
Red, white and black

FONT STYLE:
Stencil

Beware of the dog is a warning sign indicating that a dangerous dog is within.
The use of red background in the word
beware which font color is white and therefore people will notice it more quickly,
especially with the word dog, which I didn't add, otherwise, I visualize it in a drawing because for me it's easier for people to recognize the drawing in the sign.

MULTIMEDIA ARTS

COLOR APPLIED:
Golden yellow, white (font color), and black (background)

FONT STYLE:
Serif (bold)

I use golden yellow to show how special multimedia arts are to me.
I created my own Multimedia arts logo to add to the decoration of my font design.
About the font design, I make it simple and add some lines in the word of multimedia.

CORONAVIRUS

COLOR APPLIED:
Cyber yellow #FFD300
Crimson red #B90E0A

FONT STYLE:
Default (bold)

This coronavirus is not new to us, in fact, we have been experiencing it for 3 years
This decorative font I made for coronavirus I want to show this design in a new perspective so you can see that
The first word is "Coronavirus" the font color is red you will notice the default (bold) font style I used but I manipulate the style so as not to be boring because each letter has a different variety and about the second word that I want to show The word "Cure us" means we all want to get a cure for ourselves or our loved ones, praying to the lord that hopefully the virus will not spread again and the economy of the country will return.

MIDTERM PROJECT (PANELDISCUSSION GROUP)

Diverse : An artist's view to Digital and Traditional

As for this blog, we've created an informative video that differentiates and describes traditional and digital art's fundamentals, history, and background as it goes on. I, Jera Mae Berja of MMA 2 will also show traditional artworks of mine later on Jezekiah Panis, will show her digital artworks as well. And Ken Henry Eusibio summarizing the information in the video.

History of Traditional Arts

Contemporary-Traditional Art refers to art produced at the present period of time that reflects the current culture by utilizing classical techniques in drawing, painting, and sculpting. Practicing artists are mainly concerned with the preservation of time-honored skills in creating works of figurative and representational forms of fine art as a means to express human emotions and experiences.

PENCIL DRAWING is a form of visual art in which an artist uses instruments to mark paper or other two-dimensional surfaces. Drawing instruments include graphite pencils, pen and ink, various kinds of paints, inked brushes, colored pencils, crayons, charcoal, chalk, pastels, erasers, markers, styluses, and metals (such as silverpoint).

Based on my experience in traditional arts in drawing I can say for me it is easy with all the different mediums because obviously all of us when it comes to Arts we start with learning drawing before we can do something because Drawing was the first skill we learned Before we get into painting, sculptor and so on.
also, many artists begin with pencil drawings which can be a great starting point to draw different shapes, forms, and lines. This simple exercise will help you to look closer at the shapes you make. You can use normal pencils, color pencils, graphite, and try to use them all in the same drawing to see and compare the different effects.

PAINTING the expression of ideas and emotions, with the creation of certain aesthetic qualities, in a two-dimensional visual language. The elements of this language—its shapes, lines, colors, tones, and textures—are used in various ways to produce sensations of volume, space, movement, and light on a flat surface.

One of my favorite mediums in art is painting because I can express my feelings/emotions on my canvas by overlaying or combining colors of acrylic or oil paint as well as textures, lines, and everything. that I can
try to convey and execute my intended artwork. I believe Every painting is different, made with different intentions, themes, and purposes.

This painting has 3 mediums that are...

Watercolor painting:

Just experiment with different brushes and colors. This exercise will help to understand how watercolors flow on the surface of your painting. It will also allow to see how watercolors work on different The surface of your painting

Acrylic Painting:

This is different from watercolors and acrylics are another popular choice for many artists since the sixties. Acrylics can be diluted and used as thinly or thickly as you want. Try to paint different shapes just to give you a better feel of this great paints.

Oil Painting:

The first thing to understand about oil paints may emit toxic fumes, particularly when using other mediums like turpentine (highly flammable). So you need to be careful where you will paint and make sure that you work in a well-ventilated space.
Oil painting is absolutely great but needs a lot of learning and understanding of all the material you will be using. It also needs a lot of practice to see how oil paints work on the surface of your painting.

SCULPTURE is the branch of the visual arts that operates in three dimensions. It is one of the plastic arts. Durable sculptural processes originally used carving and modelling, in stone, metal, ceramics, wood, and other materials but, since Modernism, there has been almost complete freedom of materials and processes.

The experience and perspective of the Artist

My experience overall in my traditional Arts journey everything is Fun because you are free to create arts with only your hands as if there is no other use of technology but only materials.
I can say that traditional arts are not easy either because before you learn, you will make mistakes over and over again, which will change your entire canvas or your work will be messy.

As you begin to draw and paint, understand that it is about your personal expression and your personal feelings. If you like to draw straight lines, then draw a lot of straight lines, and if you like red and blue colours, then use this colors in various shapes It develop your drawings and paintings from within what you like and feels good to you. Painting is all about self-expression and self-discovery. Understand those two very well at the beginning and you will be on the right track to progress with your art.

History of digital Arts

The first use of the term digital art was in the early 1980s when computer engineers devised a paint program which was used by the pioneering digital artist Harold Cohen. This became known as AARON, a robotic machine designed to make large drawings on sheets of paper placed on the floor.

Let's sum it up first. Digital art is an artistic work or practice that uses digital technology as part of the creative or presentation process.

The experience and perspective of the Artist

My experience with digital, as it is with all of us, of course it's always hard in the beginning.
I'm originally a traditional artist ever since, and starting out digital artwork has never been on my mind. At first I was just testing out what my artwork would look like if I do digital. And later on, I find digital art efficient and fun. My digital art journey hasn't been long since I started last year. So I must say that I'm still lacking in all things, even the fundamentals. I still make mistakes, and sometimes forget the fundamentals pf digital arts, but as per se, I still enjoy making digital arts.
