This Seminar is live on Facebook page DTI. This Seminar give me a privilege of attending the International Design Conference thru online which is good for me. The topic was really interesting because it talks about the AI tool as a groundbreaking tool for Multimedia Arts designers. The event was an eye-opening experience, offering profound insights into the future 

One of my key takeaways from the conference was the transformative potential of AI in the field of Multimedia Arts. Speakers and experts wants us to witnessing the AI-generated art and designs that pushed the boundaries of imagination was truly inspiring.

Furthermore, the discussions highlighted the importance of responsible AI usage in the creative process, ensuring that technology enhances rather than replaces human creativity. This resonated with me, as it emphasized the need for designers to maintain their unique creative voices while harnessing AI's capabilities. Their presentations were informative, engaging, and filled with real-world examples that illustrated the power of AI in Multimedia Arts.

TECHTALKS: BASIC NAVIGATION & PHOTO EDITING USING ADOBE PHOTOSHOP

As a Multimedia Arts student attending the "TECHTALKS: Basic Navigation & Photo Editing Using Adobe Photoshop" seminar, I found the experience both enlightening and valuable to my creative journey. The seminar provided a comprehensive overview of Adobe Photoshop, which is an indispensable tool for anyone in the multimedia field. Here are some key takeaways and reflections from the seminar:

The seminar started by diving into the basics of Photoshop's user interface. Learning about the workspace, toolbars, and panels was crucial. It has made me feel more confident in navigating through the software, ensuring I can easily locate the tools I need for different tasks. It emphasized the importance of layers in Photoshop. I realized that mastering layer management is key to creating complex and professional-looking designs. This insight will undoubtedly improve the quality of my work. Next is photo editing techniques was particularly insightful. Learning about adjustments like exposure, contrast, and color correction will enable me to enhance and retouch images effectively, which is vital for multimedia projects.

The "TECHTALKS: Basic Navigation & Photo Editing Using Adobe Photoshop" was a worthwhile experience for any Multimedia Arts student. It equipped me with essential skills, knowledge, and inspiration to excel in my creative projects. I look forward to implementing what I've learned in my work and continuing to explore the vast world of Adobe Photoshop.

DIGITAL ACADEMY teaching how to create Simple website for beginners

The DIGITAL ACADEMY seminar on creating simple websites for beginners was an enlightening experience. Throughout the session, I gained valuable insights into the world of web development. The instructors were knowledgeable and patient, breaking down complex concepts into easily digestible steps. I learned the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and even got hands-on practice in building a basic website. The seminar's interactive approach and practical exercises made it accessible to beginners like me. I am now confident in my ability to create a simple website, thanks to the DIGITAL ACADEMY seminar. It was a fantastic learning opportunity that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get started in web development.

SUMMARY OF THE SEMINAR: 

During the Filipino Web Development Peers webinar, I gained valuable insights into the fundamental building blocks of website development: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. JavaScript was a revelation, showcasing its dynamic nature in enhancing user experience and interactivity. HTML's role in structuring web content and CSS's ability to style it were made clear. Learning how these technologies harmoniously come together to create engaging websites was enlightening. This seminar has deepened my understanding of web development and equipped me with the knowledge to create more user-friendly and visually appealing websites.

One of the films we watched that I was really looking forward to the title is Tagu - Taguan we are part of that film as a post production team

This film is a Psychological, Thriller, and Horror

The summary of this story is there a

Two children started drawing on a piece of paper. Not until Julie decided to play tagu-tauan, as the game started, Ally decided to hide under the bed, but what was inside of the box made her curious. Still, Julie tries to find her but eventually gives up, but not until she hears a crowd of people murmuring around the street.

This film amazes me because it features the film focus on the cultural filipino game which is the Tagu-Taguan, that aren't usually played in this generation because of new technologies. The film also aims to convey the idea that after death, a person's soul travels somewhere.

Im really fascinated because of the directors ideas, I see the multiple angles, shots, clips and tons of fillers that give more exciting thru out the film.

INTRODUCTION

The majority of studies on earning while learning reveal positive salary benefits, but they do not take into account how work relates to the topic of study. It simply demonstrates the notable benefits of "earning while learning" on the job market for students working in their subject of study.

These returns to our students relate to their areas of study and the jobs they have concurrently with their education. They provide positive feedback in the form of decreased chance of unemployment, shortened job search time, increased income impacts, and increased job responsibilities.

According to Anthony P. C, Nicole, S. Michelle, M. (2015), Students who balance learning in college with earning a paycheck. This report examines the students who are combining work with ongoing learning. This report finds that: (1) Going to college and working while doing so is better than going straight to work after high school; (2) Working and learning simultaneously has benefits, especially when students work in jobs related to what they study; (3) And more students are working full-time while in college;.

The student’s part-time employment experience while at college has been shown to be fertile ground for producing growth and learning in these and other important. Therefore, student employment with a relation to the study is a complement to formal education and augments skills and knowledge.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

 The background study of earning while studying as an MMA student includes research on the benefits of combining work and study, as well as the factors that contribute to successful employment outcomes for students.

According to Georgetown University Center on Education, The Workforce found that students who work while studying tend to have higher earnings and better employment outcomes after graduation than students who do not work. The study also found that students who work in their field of study tend to have higher earnings and more success in their careers than those who work in other fields.

Another study published in the Journal of Education and Work found that students who work while studying tend to have higher levels of self-esteem, a greater sense of control over their lives, and more opportunities for personal growth and development.

"Earn while you study" is a concept that has become increasingly popular among students pursuing higher education, including those studying multimedia arts. While there may not be a specific background study on earning while studying as an MMA student, there are several research studies that explore the benefits of student employment during tertiary education.

Some of these studies have found that student employment during tertiary education can provide several benefits, including:

Financial benefits: Student employment can help students earn money to cover their expenses while in school, reducing their reliance on loans or other forms of financial aid.

Professional development: Student employment can provide students with opportunities for professional development, allowing them to gain practical experience in their field of study and build their skills.

Networking opportunities: Student employment can also provide students with networking opportunities, allowing them to meet and work with professionals in their field of study.

Improved academic performance: Some studies have found that students who work part-time while studying may have better academic performance than those who do not work, potentially due to improved time management skills and a stronger sense of responsibility.

These findings suggest that student employment can provide significant benefits to students pursuing higher education. By earning money, gaining practical experience, and building their skills, MMA students who work while studying may be able to enhance their academic and professional development, potentially leading to greater success in their careers.

Overall, the background study on earning while studying as an MMA student suggests that combining work and study can provide numerous benefits, including higher earnings, better employment outcomes, and personal growth and development. However, it is important for students to carefully balance their work and study commitments and seek out opportunities that are relevant to their field of study and supportive of their academic goals.

The problem that this study aims to resolve Is the advantages of earning while learning will give them the chance to start using their skills as soon as possible, but on the other hand, it will undoubtedly put them at a disadvantage if they do not manage their time effectively in the aspects of working and studying. This study seeks to determine the benefits and the right to employ their abilities in their intended fields of work/Job while they are studying.

Synopsis/ Story:

A girl is currently in bed and using her phone. She scrolls through social media endlessly and doesn't know what to do with her life. Then she encounters one video that tells her that she made no progress. She stares at the wall for a long time with a lot of voices in her head Telling her what she needs to do in her life. Everything just seems to be blurry for her ever since the quarantine. She felt hopeless when the quarantine started. Her life seems to be so repetitive. She seems to have lost everything and everything is going down. She seems to still have been stuck in the pandemic. 

On the other hand there is a man who suddenly narrates what is happening in her life. He narrates and suddenly pops up beside her to motivate her. He shows her around the school and shows what multimedia course is. MMA will give color to your life, he said. It’s okay to be undecided at first. We have different kinds of pace in our lives. Of course, due to minor issues or events, you may get hurt and you may go through difficult times. But remember that you can do anything. Now, what’s left is for you to believe so. Making wise decisions may be tough but it is not easy at first. You might make some wrong decisions but it is okay because it is part of life in order to lead you in the right direction.

Seminars - Visual Effects using Adobe After Effects with Michael Chris Loyogoy Almasco.

First of all, I was amazed at the projects he showed us the visual effects by using Adobe After Effects

We know that when it comes to video editing, After Effects has become the standard for visual effects; mostly the familiar applications for me are Bridge and Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects making it quite popular right now.

Based on what Sir Michael taught us when it comes to application, prices whether it's solo or teamed up with others.

Just like he said that there are applications that are good and cheap but not fast maybe because only solo artists are hired but if you like fast

You need to hire many artists if you want fast with good quality.

 Sir Michael said about the purpose of visual effects and why it is important for us to know especially for those people seeking this passion.

The purpose of visual effects is to serve the story well.

They do visual effects to make the movie worthwhile.
